The Role

Day to Day
This DevRel Engineer (Wallets) will be part of the DevRel team, reporting into the DevRel Lead and working cross-functionally with the internal marketing, business development, and engineering teams.
This person will focus on all things wallets (internally and externally) by driving and supporting our new/existing users, developer, and wallet partnership/client success.
You'll work closely with the industry's top wallets to build relationships, keep their information updated in our Cloud, manage WalletGuide and the WalletConnect Certified Program, conduct manual testing (JavaScript) to ensure successful integrations/upgrades, pass more technical problems to our engineering team, create content (tutorials/docs/process documentation), and communicate with wallet clients via Slack, Telegram, Discord, and GitHub.
Developer Support & Engagement
Work closely with the engineering and product teams on top priority issues and use your communication skills to act as the liaison between our internal P&E teams and top-tier external customers.
Use your developer background to provide unparalleled support to external developers integrating and building on Reown. This includes making sure they have access to the highest quality documentation, tooling, educational materials, and support systems.
Actively engage with the wallet developer community through events, training sessions, webinars, and hackathons to promote Reown and our vision.
QA Development & Testing
Use your Manual Quality Assurance Engineering experience to conduct a variety of testing techniques on Cloud Wallet Submissions.
Conduct QA testing of wallets to ensure seamless integration and functionality with the WalletKit SDK.
Drive for Developer Adoption
Understand the Big Picture and use that mindset to assist the DevRel team in building efforts to increase the developer community's engagement and adoption of Reown and our products.
Assist in community initiatives like our hackathons and be a point of contact for developers ensuring our products serve them well.
Relationship Management
Act as one of the faces of Reown within the developer ecosystem, establishing and nurturing relationships with both our partner wallet developers and those in the open-source community.
Assist in spreading the word about Reown's initiatives but also exercise listening skills to gather feedback from the community to inform future developments.
Education and Advocacy
Using your deep technical understanding of the web3 ecosystem and developer background to effectively advocate for Reown and our products.
Help support the creation of educational content (instructional videos, posts, docs, specs, etc.) to teach wallet developers how to build with Reown.
Build & Automate
Together with your team be creative and build tools such as npx templates to simplify developers' adoption stories.
Help customers discover these tools by highlighting them. Measure their adoption via metrics. Help build out automation around internal processes.
Teamwork
Work with our small but mighty DevRel team who are passionate about Reown's success and partner with marketing, BD, partnerships, product, and engineering to ensure our efforts are successful.
Help create content for the WalletKit SDK and maintain the documentation.
Requirements
Must Haves :
2+ years of Engineering or equivalent DevRel experience with web and/or mobile.
Working with and testing wallets and dApps.
Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
Strong experience writing technical documentation/specs and producing technical content in English.
Excellent communication skills in providing technical support to partners, clients, and other enterprises.
Experience acting as a problem-solving liaison between external developers, users, and internal teams.
Deep technical understanding of the web3 ecosystem (Preferably in blockchains, dApps, dev tooling, protocols, wallets, etc.).
Nice to Haves :
Experience building projects in web3 (Preferably in a developer or devrel capacity).
Experience with any of these languages/frameworks - Python, React Native, Flutter, Swift, and/or Kotlin.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Strong proficiency in written communication in English.
