The DevOps department sits within the Turbine SW Organization in Vestas. The department is key for ensuring SW quality of the solutions that control all Vestas turbines, powering millions of homes with wind energy. Your team will have SW Development engineers, primarily in Porto (Portugal) and Aarhus (Denmark) but with global responsibility. The team will have the following focus areas:
Ideating, maintaining, and improving the toolchain SW Developers useDesign, implement, and develop CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycleImprove the developer experience as a whole and make them more efficientWith the increase expected of Wind Turbine volumes, the quality of the SW and the efficiency with which we deliver SW to our customers is of the utmost importance, so this is a critical leadership position with high exposure and opportunities to grow.
