The Role As a DevOps Engineer at Blip, it's not just about technical knowledge.

What You'll Be Doing You will work as part of a team implementing best-practice AWS solutions for our products.You will help with our research and implementation of emerging AWS technologies.You will be involved in the development of new solutions delivered from inception to live.You stay abreast of the ever-evolving security landscape and ensure deployed solutions remain secure.What You'll Bring Experience with CI / CD pipelines and tools.Hands-on experience with AWS Services like VPC, SG, EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, Cloud Formation.Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker.Hands-on experience with Ansible, Git, Bash (Linux), PowerShell (Windows).Strong communications and stakeholder management skills.Excellent analytical skills, coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive.Other qualifications within IT or equivalent industry experience.2+ years of developing software.Experience in Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or CDK.We'd Like You To Master In AWS Security desirable.You have a commitment to best practices.
We'll want your expert opinion on things like operational processes, DevOps, deployments, etc.You have the ability to understand the SDLC and work closely with application developers to yield pragmatic, cost-effective options.You have a customer-first attitude and constantly strive to improve customer experience.This is what you should have.
