Role Overview:As a DevOps Engineer at Overflow Labs, you will play a pivotal role in our game's lifecycle, focusing on the automation, deployment, and operation of our infrastructure. You'll collaborate closely with both the development and QA to create a robust, scalable environment that supports our game's growth. Your efforts will ensure our systems are reliable, our deployments smooth, and our player experience is of the highest quality. This role is for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is eager to implement systems that enhance our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and optimize the continuous integration and deployment processes to maximize efficiency and reliability.
Manage and monitor cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance for our games and services.
Work closely with the development team to integrate DevOps practices into their workflows, improving code quality and deployment speed.
Implement and maintain system and application level monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Lead the charge on infrastructure security, from strategy to implementation, safeguarding our games and player data.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, continuously seeking ways to improve our operations and reduce costs.
Ideal Candidate:Solid experience in DevOps, with a proven track record of managing cloud infrastructure, preferably within the gaming industry or similar high-demand environments.
Proficiency in automation tools, cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Strong problem-solving skills, capable of critical thinking and efficiently resolving technical challenges.
Excellent communication abilities, comfortable working in a fully remote setup and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
