YOUR ROLE Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances Create and manage database objects such as tables, indexes, and views Ensure data integrity, security, and availability in the databases Monitor database performance and optimize queries for maximum efficiency Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations Monitor and audit database access and activities to ensure compliance with security standards Diagnose and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner Analyze query execution plans and optimize queries for better performance Conduct regular performance tuning activities to maintain optimal database performance Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps YOUR PROFILE • Professional experience of more than 5 years in managing databases in Microsoft SQL Server on OLTP and OLAP platforms, namely in:
- Installation and configuration of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 until 2022,
- High availability environments (failover cluster mode),
- Disaster Recovery environments (log shipping, Database Mirroring and Always On Availability Groups),
- Backup and restore of databases,
- Migration of databases,
- SSRS, SSAS and SSIS,
• With at least one of the following certifications:
- MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration,
- MCSE: Data Management and Analytics,
- MCSE: Data Platform;
• Good knowledge of the Windows operating system.
