A professional Database Administrator (DBA) will keep the database up and running smoothly 24/7. The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users.
Role Responsibilities:
Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user's specialized role;
Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views;
Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner;
Produce standards and processes development for Database infrastructure services worldwide;
Provide world class operational services to support and maintain the back office related services;
Support IT strategy by supporting new and existing services;
Participate in the implementation of new services;
Support new product deployments with installation, integration, testing, documentation, and training;
Assist in implementation of plans that enhance technical operation, compliance with rules and regulations, and permit the deployment of new technology and support them;
Plan, coordinate and implement security measures against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure;
Recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities;
Role Requirements:
Portuguese fluency;
Minimum of 3 years of experience acting as an Oracle DBA;
Experience with Oracle Linux and Red Hat;
Experience with Linux and Unix environments;
Availability to work on-call;
Nice-to-have skills:
Experience with Solaris, HP-UX and AIX;
Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware;
Experience with IBM WebSphere;
Experience with Oracle Data Guard solutions;
Experience with administration and automation of RMAN backup routines;
Experience with using EXP and DATA PUMP technology to do the schema/table/database refreshments;
Experience in administration of Oracle Single, RAC, Standby/Dataguard and ASM environments;
Experience Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) monitoring tool;
