• Team lead experience for MS SQL DBA team.
• Installations, configuration and security settings for SQL Server 2012,2014,2016,2019 stand-alone servers.
• Upgrading/Migration the databases to SQL Server 2008/2008R2/2012 to 2014,2016 and 2019 • Experience of Clustering, Replication, Logshipping & Mirroring.
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
• Experience in AlwaysOn .
• Experience in Migrating Databases to Cloud.
• Knowledge on SSRS, SSAS, SSIS configurations.
• Involved in Automation of DBA Tasks.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Responsible for planning and organizing database, Database creation, manage users, password security, privileges & roles, performance tuning, restoration, user creation, script running, patch installation etc • Independently analyse, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
Involved in P1/P2 issue resolution.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server • Knowledge on ITIL process.
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
• Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
• DR setup experience.
• Knowledge of database creation and maintenance in AWS cloud .
• Experience in other DB technologies like Oracle, Teradata.
• Good Communication skill.
Good to Have: • Experience in other DB technologies like Oracle, Teradata.
• Database Migration experience from AWS to AWS Cloud experience will be plus.
• Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
• DR setup experience.
