Are you passionate about master data and would like to work in a friendly, high performing team? We are now looking for Data Steward for Supplier to join Global Business Services (GBS); this is a temporary position , which would last 11-15 months depending on the employee's location & the start date. The position will report to the Master Data Manager.
About the Role
The Data Steward for Supplier will support the GBS Master Data Services Vendor Master Team. This person will select production sites, resolve end user requests and/or issues with the creation and maintenance of Suppliers, and assist in special projects as needed. The role aims to secure efficiency in the vendor creation process while working with Master Data Coordinators, Global Procurement, and Accounts Payable.
What You Will Do
Support and execute the actions of the GBS Master Data Services Vendor Master Team.
Dispatch, track, report, and resolve end user requests and/or issues in the Vendor Master process.
Assist stakeholders in requests related to the creation of new suppliers or the update of existing suppliers.
Participate in special projects as needed.
Secure input from other departments/stakeholders for accurate and timely resolution of issues.
Contribute to process improvement projects and give input to centrally led projects.
Interface with Global Procurement, Accounts Payable, Financial Services, Master Data, and Controlling.
Provide end user training if needed.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, procurement, or related field or equivalent.
Previous experience in SAP, Ariba, and/or in supporting the vendor creation process is a plus.
Fluent in English, verbal and written, is required.
