We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Data Scientist – Team Lead to guide our data science team in developing innovative, data-driven solutions that address key business challenges. In this role, you will not only lead the technical development of machine learning models but also manage and mentor a team of data scientists.Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering professional growth, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining alignment with business goals.Manage the end-to-end development and deployment of machine learning models, from data exploration to production implementation.Ensure best practices in model validation, testing, and deployment are followed across the team.Provide technical leadership on the design and development of machine learning models using the Python ecosystem (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow).Use Apache Spark (PySpark) to handle and process large-scale datasets in distributed environments.Lead the team in implementing robust and scalable machine learning solutions while adhering to software development best practices, such as version control and code quality.Present findings, model results, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Continuously monitor models in production to ensure optimal performance, adjusting as necessary based on real-world results.Requirements:7+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, data science, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or team lead role.Expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical techniques, and model evaluation. Deep experience with the Python ecosystem for machine learning.Strong experience with Apache Spark (PySpark) for distributed data processing.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and best practices in software engineering.Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring data scientists.
