Our client is a leading Pharmaceutical company. Descriçao da oferta Our client is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing data-driven solutions that support our business.
Description As a Data Scientis your main responsibilities will be:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional global and local teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights.
Develop and implement analytical tools, dashboards, and data solutions to address business needs.
Utilize data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
Integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
Work with large datasets to create predictive models, data visualizations, and automated solutions that drive business outcomes.
Continuously monitor and optimize data solutions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Support prioritization efforts, understand feasibility and business impact, take smart risks to make informed decisions in a fast-paced, evolving environment to deliver patient benefits faster.
Ensuring the effectiveness of data models through rigorous testing and analysis
Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Profile The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor Degree (Masters is a plus) in mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, or information science;
At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist;
Professional work experience in at least one of the following languages: Python, SQL, JavaScript;
Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is preferred.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Proven experience with data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools, particularly Tableau.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning tools, frameworks, and techniques.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
Strong team player with interpersonal skills and strong collaborative and solution-focused mindset.
Job Offer We offer the opportunity to join an international team, working from Portugal with different stakeholders. This role will be done remotely at a first stage and in an hybrid work model afterwards.
