Join our team as a Data Scientist (Hybrid – Porto)
What You'll Do: Analyze large and complex datasets, applying advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to extract insights and drive business decisions.Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models that support the company's AI strategy and objectives.Collaborate with business and IT teams, to identify opportunities for leveraging data science to drive business growth, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the customer experience.Contribute to the development of innovative AI-driven solutions that are tailored to the preferences, behaviors, and needs of Gen AI.Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data science and AI.Participate in knowledge sharing and professional development activities, contributing to the growth and development of the AI Tech Lab team.Qualifications: Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning.In-depth knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI techniques.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.Strong understanding of NLP techniques and frameworks such as BERT, GPT, or Transformer models.Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.Knowledge in data engineering, including data curation, cleaning, and preprocessing.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.Track record of driving innovation and staying updated with the latest AI research and advancements.Proficiency in English is valued.At DataSmart, you will have the opportunity to integrate into a solid company and participate in projects of high recognition, nationally and internationally, with an appealing technological environment and career progression.
