Data Scientist

Freelance Remote – Portugal Tasks Tasks and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement machine learning and statistical models to solve complex data problems. Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and present findings to stakeholders. Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for data collection, processing, and analysis. Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate machine learning models into production systems. Stay updated with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to drive innovation. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data science processes, models, and results. Provide guidance and support to junior data scientists and team members. Requirements Experience in relevant work and projects (e.g., as a data scientist or in a related role) Proven knowledge and experience in Data Mining, Machine Learning, and Statistics Hands-on experience in coding solutions for realistic data analytics applications Proficiency in Python and Machine Learning packages (NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas, Keras) Experience in Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch Communicative mindset Experience with Caffe Programming languages like Java, R, and C++ Knowledge of cloud tools such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive
