Our client is a multi-line MGA focused on specialty lines of business including Treaty, PI, D&O and Surety insurance and reinsurance cover. Founded in London in 2012, it has grown to handle $120m in gross written premium, with a team of 18. Post-Brexit, our client has set up an office in Lisbon to write EU business.
Descrição
Utilize a variety of software tools and data sources to analyze premium, claims and exposure trends
Create, design and produce regular and ad hoc MI packs
Produce key management information (internal and external)
Work closely with the underwriting team to gather MI
Assist in the business planning process
Assist in the reinsurance buying process
Undertake reconciliation exercises with capacity providers
Optimize cross departmental data infrastructure, driving data integrity and quality across all aspects of the business that impact the treaty division
Perfil ideal
A minimum of 3 years Insurance exposure (mandatory)
Database skills (e.g. MS Access, SQL) and/or experience with/willingness to learn reporting software (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, MS Reporting Services or similar)
Scripting skills (e.g. VBA, R) - interesting to have
Strong planning and organizational skills
