We are seeking a Product Owner for GOPS Fulfillment Data Products. Our vision is to create data products that empower various functions and our consumer base to utilize data efficiently, enabling them to develop diverse use cases. As a Product Owner, you will collaborate with product teams and owners to continuously improve and evolve the product area, maximizing value for all internal customers. By partnering with business customers, tech teams, and other stakeholders, you will define a robust product backlog, manage capability expansion increments, and lead the team in establishing new functionalities and best practices.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Develop and Manage Product Roadmap: Create a roadmap and strategy for data products, maintain the backlog, and ensure alignment with business goals
Lifecycle Management: Oversee the creation, evolution, maintenance, and retirement of data products throughout their lifecycle
Product Success and Delivery: Be accountable for the product's success, including ROI, and ensure delivery aligns with the roadmap and committed timelines
Demand and Stakeholder Communication: Capture, communicate, and prioritise demand via the product roadmap and OKRs; evaluate and inform consumers about progress
Consultation and Transparency: Consult with internal users for data product consumption, explain complex topics, and create transparency on capacity constraints and skill gaps
Data Insights and Quality: Work together with IT colleagues and Business Product Owners to analyze and understand how data is generated along specific business processes
Agile and Change Management: Follow agile processes, prioritise backlogs, manage sprint planning, drive change management, and facilitate technical discussions with engineering teams and stakeholders
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
University degree in Systems Information / Engineering / Management
+5 years of experience in a Data PO/Agile/PM function with diplomatic stakeholder management
Proficient spoken and written command of English
Deep understanding of data warehousing with different integrations and data processing patterns
Good understanding of data modelling and data architecture
Full data analysis using SQL and, preferably, know-how of Databricks, PySpark, Power BI and exposure to SAP / SAP BW
