We are looking for a skilled Product Manager to lead our data engineering teams for OLX Europe on the development of a highly valuable data management & discovery ecosystem. The data team at OLX serves all our internal users across OLX Europe, including our OLX horizontal, and Motors and Real Estate vertical classifieds products in Europe. The mission of our data team is to establish an accessible, high-performing, and compliant data management & discovery ecosystem & tooling for our internal users who are mainly those in product analytics, data science, and local market operations inside the company. This role will be under the Data organization and will report directly to a Senior Product Manager. Your responsibilities:Your primary focus will be on the delivery of a robust data management & discovery ecosystem of tools and processes on which you will:Act as the cornerstone between our internal users and our engineering teams in order to understand our internal user's challenges and needs;Accompanied by our Engineering Leads and Principals, you'll analyze our internal user's problems and feedback and set the priorities;With our Engineering Leads and Principals, you'll collaborate on creating the long-term vision and product roadmap around the theme of data management and its direct connections such as data quality, lineage, or data mesh;You'll create and track the measurement that will drive the success of your pack and that you'll present to the OLX leadership team on a frequent basis;You'll work with our engineering team on optimizing the team's development cycle (internal procedures, ceremonies, backlog management);You'll be representing the data team by communicating frequently our latest updates to our internal users and at a company level;You'll be responsible for onboarding and training our internal users to the data management and discovery ecosystem you'll be in charge of it;You'll co-own the decision-making on budget & costs, with our Engineering Manager and Principal.Who we're looking for:3+ years of experience in designing or building data products as a product manager or equivalent role;Good understanding of data governance, data quality, data modeling, and data mesh principles;Excellent English;Good communication skills with the ability to lead internal webinars and video courses;Enthusiastic in evolving as a product manager for internal products.Nice to have:Familiarity with data querying languages and technologies (SQL, Python);Experience with analytical tools appreciated (Tableau, Superset);Good understanding of the main GDPR principles;Basic knowledge of the following skills: data analytics, data engineering, or data science.Our benefits:Permanent contractSalary + annual bonus up to 15% of your annual gross salaryWork with and impact all OLX websitesTrain and conference budget and free access to Udemy coursesHealth insurance and life insuranceMacBook Pro along with necessary accessories to make your work comfortableWhy join OLX?
