Responsibilities You will provide general assistance in complying with data protection regulations in the Iberian Peninsula in the Group's different companies.
You will participate in quarterly Compliance Committee meetings and make regular reports about the status of the data privacy management system (Local CRB).
You will autonomously record the movements of the DPPOs in the One Trust system to keep it up to date and contact the DPPOs as often as necessary to review personal data processing activities and create new Processing Activity Records together with the DPPOs.
You will carry out impact assessments together with the DPPOs, with external support when necessary, and liaise with the DPPOs.
You will create personal data processing agreements, joint control agreements, negotiate with external activities, and assist in the documentation of internal data transfers in accordance with the Linde Group's internal data transfer framework as well as clauses for different contracts related to personal data protection issues.
You will provide legal support in the management of personal data processing activities in balance with other legal issues that may have an impact.
You will monitor incidents of personal data breaches and be the point of contact with the group's data protection officer.
You will respond to incidents registered on the ISQR management platform in accordance with the mandatory deadlines, both to guarantee their resolution and to provide support to the business areas.
You will provide training to the DPPOs on specific local data protection issues, in accordance with the procedures that the local company has implemented, either in Portugal or in Spain, and, in the absence of procedures, encourage the DPPOs to create them.
You will provide support to the compliance area, being the local contact in Portugal for compliance issues and liaising with external entities (lawyers, when necessary).
You will respond to internal and external data protection audits and deal autonomously with all non-conformities.
What makes you great
You have an Educational Background: A bachelor's or master's degree in law, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
You have a Professional Certification: Certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar credentials in data protection and privacy.
You demonstrate several years of experience in data protection or a related field, with a focus on EU GDPR and local data privacy laws.
You have a solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to data privacy and protection.
You are familiar with data protection and privacy technologies, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other relevant software for managing data privacy tasks.
You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
You have strong analytical skills to assess data privacy risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
You are able to manage data privacy projects and initiatives from conception to implementation.

This role is a full time position based on an unlimited contract. The standard weekly working hours will be from 08:00 hrs till 17:00 hrs.
