.YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND TEAM We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Integration Engineer. As a Data Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating various external data sources and customer systems into our central data platform. You will work closely with our Data Science, DevOps, and Product teams to operationalize data models, integrate new data sources, and optimize data streams to enable us and our clients to extract actionable insights and execute impactful decisions. YOUR TASK Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions to seamlessly integrate various external data sources and customers into our core data platform. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to understand data requirements, define integration strategies, and ensure they meet business objectives. Support Data Scientists in productizing models and optimizing data pipelines for scalability and efficiency. Utilize technologies such as Azure native cloud services, Talend Data Integration, Kubernetes, Python, Postgres, and other common databases to design robust and scalable data solutions. Implement best practices for data management, data quality, and data security during the integration process. Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our data integration capabilities. YOUR PROFILE Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or relevant work experience in data integration. Proven experience in designing and implementing data integration solutions in a cloud environment, ideally using Azure native services. Proficiency with data integration tools such as Talend Data Integration or similar ETL tools. Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation, automation, and scripting tasks. Experience working with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes to deploy and manage data applications. Solid understanding of relational databases (e.G., Postgres) and SQL queries. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a proactive attitude. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
