As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Creating and delivering client reports, based on snapshots of our data warehouse.
Developing and maintaining SQL queries to extract data from the data warehouse for client reports.
Maintaining our Reporting framework and adding features to it (new layout capabilities).
Creating and automating the delivery of data snapshots.
Communicating complex technical processes and requirements clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Working closely with the Customer Success Manager to understand the reporting needs and ensure accurate alignment with their requirements.
Ensuring data accuracy and integrity in all reports and snapshots provided to clients.
Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to data extraction, transformation, and delivery.
Collaborating with internal teams to optimize and improve data reporting processes.
Maintaining thorough documentation of all processes and procedures related to client reporting.
What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in data reporting, for at least 2 years minimum.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts.
Experience with dbt and airflow are a plus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical processes to non-technical stakeholders.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Proven ability to align requirements and deliverables with client needs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
What we would love to see:
Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus.
Comfortable with Customer Facing meetings.
Capability of translating technical conversations to non-technical stakeholders.
