This role involves working with Big Data environments, focusing on extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes while ensuring data quality, reliability, and alignment with organizational goals.Develop and Manage Data Pipelines: Build robust data systems and pipelines using Hadoop-based ecosystems and tools like Impala to handle complex data processing needs.Data Processing and Cleansing: Extract, transform, and organize data from multiple sources, including APIs, while conducting thorough data cleansing and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and issues.Utilize Advanced Tools and Programming: Leverage tools like Spark and PySpark for efficient data processing and programming languages such as Python for implementing scalable data solutions.Visualization and Prototyping: Create impactful visualizations and prototypes using Tableau and Power BI to present insights clearly and support data-driven decision-making.Ensure Quality and Documentation: Apply rigorous quality assurance and testing procedures, document processes thoroughly, and contribute to the engineering knowledge base to enhance data reliability and collaboration.QualificationsWhat distinguishes you:Education: Degree in IT, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience: Experience in handling and managing data through extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, and working within a Big Data ecosystem based on Hadoop technologies (, Impala).Know How:Expertise in databases and data warehouses.Proficiency in data processing tools like Spark, including PySpark for efficient processing.Knowledge of big data ecosystem tools such as HDFS, Hive, Impala, and HBase.Familiarity with APIs, message brokers, and software interfaces for data integration.Proficiency in programming languages, with Python as a preferred skill.Knowledge of data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.Advanced skills in data visualization and prototyping tools like Tableau and Power BI.Languages: Proficient in English.Working Style and Methods: Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and optimize complex data workflows in a collaborative environment.Personality: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, collaborative team spirit, and proactive problem-solving approach.Additional InformationWork #LikeABosch includes:?
