We are currently looking for a Data Engineer for a Vehicle Manufacturers Company:
Requirements:Role and ResponsibilitiesUploading data to the Big Data PlatformTargeted preparation of data for specific use cases and creation of data profilesDevelopment of ready-to-use data pipelinesCoordination of the service provider's activities (only complex)SkillsProficient in the programming languages Apache Spark, Python, R, Scala, Java, and KotlinUnderstanding of AWS Cloud Ingestion solutionsUnderstanding of efficient data processing and attitude in S3 and databases (on-prem and cloud)Knowledge of relevant source systems and their data types and structuresKnowledge in the implementation of batch and real-time interfacesExtended expertise in the field of software engineering for the series production of productive data products (incl.
testing, deployment, code quality, logging, monitoring, operation)Experience in the development of distributed systemsExperience in Docker-based deployment and Resource ManagerExperience in CI/CD pipelines and toolsKnowledge and practical experience with Workflow ManagersDetailed knowledge of agile software development according to ScrumTechnical knowledge of the automotive industryYears of Experience: 3 years.
Location will be Lisbon, and the working model will be on-site/hybrid.
