As a Data Engineer Common Data Platform (m/f) you will work in a SCRUM team closely with the backend developers, solutions architects and UI/App developers to build and enhance the company's existing and future digital services within Continental Tires.For this position, you should have academic degree in Computer Science, IT, or related studies; at least 2 years of experience as an internal or external consultant / developer for data warehousing applications; experience supporting and operating a software system; affinity for the specific challenges of data integration from heterogenous sources; experience in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#); knowledge of data modeling in relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL); experience with data modeling in key value stores - e.g., HBase – (is a plus); experience with Apache Flink / Spark / Hive (is a plus); knowledge of CI/CD tools, like Jenkins (is a plus); ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
