Role Description:
As a Data Architect, you will be working with business stakeholders, data engineers, and database administrators. Your major goal is to build a dependable and scalable data architecture that allows for data storage, retrieval, and analysis. You will also be responsible for data security, compliance, and quality while staying up to date on emerging technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable and secure data architecture solutions that meet the needs of the business.
Develop data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries to document the structure and relationships of data within the organisation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design data solutions that align with business objectives.
Define data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
Lead data governance initiatives to establish processes for data classification, access control, and data lifecycle management.
Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in data management to recommend innovative solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on best practices in data architecture and design.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Architect or a similar role in designing and implementing data architecture solutions.
Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing platforms.
Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
Solid knowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
