Help providing self-service capabilities for business departments to work autonomously and transforming data into intuitive and meaningful analytical solutions that enable actionable insights and informed business decisions.
Manage central systems, process support requests, and ensure self-service analytics environment is up-to-date and compliant that enables business users to successfully deliver analytical projects.
Ensure implementation of the Group Technology strategy provided by the Data Office management team.
Ensure implementation and maintenance of the global template (Hub&Spoke) in terms of systems, governance, processes & functions on a worldwide scale.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? As part of the Analytics Platforms team, you will be a trusted partner for our business to help roll-out our self-service analytics platform Google Looker.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Work closely with Google Looker platform owner to monitor and keep the Google Looker Platform up-to-date.Monitor and query system activity data using API.Provide daily operational support to business users on LookML, dbt according to the best practices and enable them to continually improve their projects autonomously.Optimize performance of LookML and dashboards.Setup new projects in Looker and help leveraging Hub&Spoke architecture.Promote Looker good practices and security culture.Liaise with software providers on support and innovation topics.Provide a clear documentation related to the areas under responsibility.Use Jira to manage backlog and priorities.HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? You have a university degree in Business Informatics/Information Systems/Management Information Systems and the following experience:
Mandatory professional experience with Google Looker as LookML developer (at least 1-year working experience).Experience with Python, gitlab, dbt and complex queries developments in BigQuery.Experience with Looker API is a big plus.Experience with performance tuning (knowledge of monitoring tools & technical solutions to get the best performance).Experience in business consulting and international exposure.Experience with user support is a plus.You have following qualities and aptitude: proactive interest in technology and innovations, analytical and problem-solving skills, multitasking, client-oriented and team mindset.
Languages: fluent in English, French is nice to have.
