Your mission will be…
As Data Analyst in Credit & Equity Risk Controlling, you understand the specific requirements of a financial services organization and related risk processes.
You co-develop risk-related analytical applications in R or Python in a cloud-based Kubernetes environment, in a citizen development approach, from requirement analysis to the development process to operation. This includes creating documentation and performing appropriate tests. You know about the requirements from compliance and banking regulations and implement them accordingly.
You are familiar with Siemens Financial Services' risk topics, especially with risk controlling, reporting / KPIs, and using simulation tools.
Close cooperation with various internal stakeholders (including business departments, IT architects, service providers, etc.) is part of your daily work routine.
You advise and support internal customers and top management with individual business analyses.
You are an integral part of the Credit & Equity Risk Controlling Team within Siemens Financial Services Risk Controlling organization, with locations in Munich and Lisbon.
We are looking for someone with…
You have successfully completed your Master's degree in a relevant field of study, i.e., business administration, economics, or computer science. Alternatively, you have completed your apprenticeship, together with some years of professional experience and extended additional qualifications/trainings.
Knowledge of risk modeling, valuation, and reporting systems in the financial services industry are the foundation of your implementation skills.
Advanced knowledge of R/Shiny coding is one of your strengths.
Our technologies (Microsoft Azure / e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service), programming languages (R / Shiny and/or Python) and interfaces (Web Services, SQL) are well known to you.
You are competent in using SQL for database querying and management and feel comfortable in GitLab for version control, collaboration, and CI/CD pipelines. You grasp the core concepts of establishing and managing database connections via ODBC.
By working collaboratively and engaging with your team and beyond, you create an environment of trust that fosters mutual progress.
