As a member of SE Customs team in Portugal, you will actively contribute to the fulfilling of the customs compliance responsibilities related to customs data management, preferential and non-preferential origin determination, Intrastat, and customs documents validation for our European footprint. Therefore, you are part of a team within our European network where you can bring in our gained expertise and communication skills on a daily basis. A Snapshot of Your Day Review and upload checked Export Documentation, like Certificates of Origin or supplier declarations into our SAP Systems.Order processing in our transport system Kanlog for certain projects.Determination of preferential and non-preferential origin based on available information. Check of assigned preferential and non-preferential for the maintained materials in our SAP Systems.Request and maintenance of received export data forms, certificates of origin, and supplier declarations to assist procurement activities. Check of received data according to Siemens Energy standards and procedures. Denial and request of corrected data is also part of this role as the maintenance of checked data in our SAP Systems.Solicitation, check maintenance of supplier declarations from our suppliers. Archiving according to Siemens Energy standards and procedures is also part of your role.Error processing in our systems (MIC and SAP), editing the file transfers, and also creation of manual templates if needed.Correctness review of Customs/VAT invoices from freight forwarders as per Siemens Energy standards and procedures. What You Bring Background and practice in the field of customs / freight forwarding or complete university degree (e.g. business administration, law, international trade).Experience gained in customs processes - 1 to 3 years of experience (preferential/non-preferential origin and customs tariff determination export, import, export).International experience (work in international teams, work abroad) is a definite plus.Experience in customs/ERP IT systems such as SAP, MIC.Fluency in English; German skills would be a plus.Responsibility, organization, communication, and assertiveness skills are valued attributes.
