We are searching for person to staff position of Customer Program Director in Telefonica / VMO2 Market Services team in Europe, who will be responsible for delivering programs and projects to our customer in UK, mainly of deployment of Nokia core network.
As a Customer Program Director, you will: Deliver programs and projects within agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality to telecommunication operators.Lead the programs and projects throughout all phases, starting from presale, through delivery approach identification to completion, while nurturing a good customer relationship.Liaise with your main stakeholders, esp. external customers and partners - CxO levels, directors, counterparts, and Nokia stakeholders - Business Delivery Managers, Customer Project Managers, Technical Managers, Solutions Architects, Care Program Managers, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Procurement, Logistic, R&D teams. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
The Customer Program Director is accountable for success of an external customer programs and / or projects for an assigned product and / or service scope.
Manages program / project throughout all phases, starting from sales support though delivery to completion, including closure and / or handover.Leads a program / project team and manages stakeholders and resources. Interacts with customer and partners organizations, including with senior management level.Is responsible for the overall program / project success with respect to customer satisfaction, financial results, contractual obligations, quality, operational services delivery performance, and health & safety control activities.Makes and maintains end-to-end program / project communication, planning, risk, change and opportunity management.Ensures program / project information is maintained up to date, with required quality and according to relevant policies, including data in project-related tools and repositories.Participate in sales and business development process, as well explore upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Key Skills And Experience
You have:
Extensive recent experience in a Program Management role including managing complex deployment programs in the telco industry on the bare-metal and cloud.Proven record accomplishment program / project management, business management and technical delivery experience in complex projects, 7-10 years.Take accountability for assigned programs / projects and works independently, adopting to process with little guidance.Work with external customers, partners, with and through the teams, including with senior management level. Experience managing customers at CxO's and / or directors' levels.Excellent business acumen, interpersonal communication skills and cross-cultural awareness.Knowledge in managing budget and financial performance and forecasts of program / project.Distill big picture, anticipate risks and opportunities, make relevant decisions, and prioritize own and a teamwork.Solid understanding of the impacts of changes on scope, cost, schedule, risk / opportunities. Create and maintain response / mitigation plans which generate solid business impact.Ability to influencing others outside of own job area on matters related to program / project, policies, practices and procedures.Excellent stress tolerance.Fluency in English, spoken and written, including business.Certification in Project Management, esp. PMI/PMP.European Union citizenship, due travel, and security requirements.Availability to travel in Europe, around 20% of time. It would be nice if you also have: Experience in managing complex core network implementation projects for mobile telecommunication, esp. in area of 5G and foreign Cloud model.
