We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in EMEA at Montijo, Setubal, Portugal .
Job Purpose:
Advises Business Units, within assigned geography, on customer insurance products and technical coverage/pricing topics. Manages day-to-day activity and administration related to customer insurance. Assists the business with growth in sales and overall business objectives set by Customer Insurance Manager at country level, Group guidelines, and policies.
Adopt the DHL culture of respect and results through professionalism, integrity, effectiveness, and dynamic attitude contributing to an internal environment of collaborative teamwork and promote a positive IRM service provision to customers.
Serve as a key and proactive member of DHL / GBS Global Insurance & Risk Management (IRM) team, interacting with colleagues to ensure business objectives are met and that the country is performing to "best in class" standards.
Develop and maintain understanding of the business, the customer, and their challenges to establish a clear vision for the customer insurance service provision.
Maintain regular communication with the customer, responding to ad-hoc queries relating to coverage, documentation, invoicing, etc.
Maintain accurate customer records of all annual insurances agreed as well as profitability progress of those agreements.
Provide technical support and assistance to local business partners to support the customer insurance sales process.
Manage all aspects of the insurance referral process as agreed with Customer Insurance Manager, providing timely and accurate responses to these queries, coordinating with the London central team when required.
Maintain relationships with other functional groups and other IRM service lines.
Provide analysis on day-to-day tasks handled.
Your profile:
Over 2 years of experience in customer insurance support, gained in a large multinational transport and logistics company, insurance broker, or cargo insurer.
Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to support the customer insurance process.
Excellent project management, facilitation, and presentation & storytelling skills.
Highly skilled in influencing and providing effective feedback to internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
