Join an ambitious and international teamOur lineup is international with team members in Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Romania, Switzerland, Portugal, Sweden and Hong Kong. We work with customers, sales and operations globally (A&S, Road and Lead Logistics/4PL). Our projects have often a level of complexity which require extra attention related to requirements, multiple countries and/or technical setup. We have the business and technical knowledge internally in DSV, so as a project manager you are adding value by creating structure, giving transparency and planning the work.
A trusted partner to customers and internal stakeholdersAs a customer implementation project manager, you will be a valued and trusted partner to customers, sales, business, and IT. You have the overall responsibility for the day-to-day project management in your projects and will lead resources from multiple teams in your projects. Specifically, your job will involve:
Plan and follow-up on assigned projects according to our project management methodology, based on Prince2, and Global Customer Implementation methodology.Create transparency about status, tasks and issues to stakeholders by reporting and defined project governance e.g. team and board meetings.Support sales teams with implementation approach and present capabilities to customers.Lead and facilitate workshops with customers, business and IT to define requirements and processes.Lead the design phase for customer tailored solutions, related to both operations and technical setup.Strong in structure, focused on executionYou are the most important asset as a project manager, and if you have the right mindset and motivation, we are ready to teach and train you into the role as project manager.
The optimal candidate has strengths in three main areas: freight forwarding or international logistics, technical knowledge (IT applications, customer integrations) and leading complex projects with international stakeholders. If you have some of those strengths in combination with strong motivation to develop yourself, we are interested in a joint journey where you by exposure and training can develop your skills.
As a person, you are independent and a leader who knows how to communicate and collaborate to achieve the defined business objectives. You can stand your ground when challenged, and you know how to navigate in large corporations with many stakeholders.
