As a CSR Manager at Sofyne, an IT consulting firm serving the manufacturing sector, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the company's CSR initiatives. This role involves ensuring that CSR strategies are aligned with both ethical standards and legal requirements, while promoting sustainability and social responsibility in Sofyne's internal operations and consulting services. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to create positive social and environmental impacts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and international standards.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior leadership to define Sofyne's CSR vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, client needs, and legal regulations governing corporate social responsibility and sustainability.Develop and execute CSR programs and initiatives that address social, environmental, and ethical issues in the manufacturing industry, including compliance with applicable laws (e.g., labor laws, environmental regulations, and supply chain regulations).Client-Facing CSR Solutions:Work with consulting teams to advise manufacturing clients on integrating CSR and sustainability strategies into their operations, ensuring these solutions comply with relevant laws and international standards (e.g., the Modern Slavery Act, environmental protection laws, and human rights frameworks).Help clients navigate and comply with legal obligations related to ESG performance, such as regulatory reporting and supply chain transparency laws.Sustainability and Legal Compliance:Ensure that all CSR initiatives, both internally and externally, adhere to local, national, and international laws governing environmental impact, labor rights, supply chain accountability, and data privacy (e.g., GDPR in the context of CSR data collection).Monitor changes in relevant legal frameworks and regulations, keeping Sofyne's CSR programs compliant and up-to-date.Employee Engagement and Volunteer Programs:Lead employee engagement initiatives that encourage participation in CSR activities while ensuring all programs align with legal requirements and ethical guidelines.Coordinate volunteer programs and pro bono consulting that support legal rights (e.g., promoting STEM education for underserved communities) and comply with regulatory standards.Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting:Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry groups, and third-party auditors, to ensure Sofyne's CSR efforts are in line with legal and industry standards.Oversee the preparation of accurate CSR and ESG reports, ensuring compliance with legal requirements for transparency and disclosure, and aligning with global reporting standards like GRI, SDGs, and CDP.Branding, Public Relations, and Legal Communication:Ensure that Sofyne's CSR communications (e.g., press releases, social media) reflect both the company's commitment to sustainability and its compliance with relevant legal requirements.Collaborate with legal teams to ensure that CSR messaging and client-facing materials do not unintentionally create legal liabilities or misrepresent Sofyne's efforts.Continuous Improvement and Innovation:Stay informed on emerging legal trends related to CSR, ESG, and sustainability to proactively adapt Sofyne's programs to evolving legal landscapes and industry best practices.Recommend improvements to internal CSR strategies, ensuring they remain legally sound, innovative, and aligned with business objectives.Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Sustainability, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSR Professional Certification) is a plus.
Skills: CSR Expertise: Deep understanding of CSR best practices, sustainability, and ESG frameworks as they apply to the IT consulting and manufacturing sectors.Legal and Regulatory Knowledge: Solid knowledge of relevant local, national, and international laws governing CSR, environmental protection, labor standards, and supply chain transparency.
