For which tasks (responsibilities)? We are seeking a talented and visionary Creative Director to lead the creative vision and development of all necessary game assets, building a complete pipeline of work from the initial idea to the final product. This role is integral to shaping the artistic direction and ensuring the visual quality of our games. The Creative Director will also oversee the creation of promotional materials, including videos and other marketing assets, to effectively communicate our game's story and aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Vision and Leadership: Define and articulate the creative vision for characters and environments, ensuring alignment with the overall game design and narrative.
Lead and inspire a team of artists, designers, and animators to produce high-quality concept art, models, textures, and animations.
Collaborate closely with other departments, including game design, narrative, and technical teams, to ensure cohesive and compelling visual storytelling.
Concept Development: Oversee the development of character and environment concepts, from initial sketches to final production assets.
Ensure that all artistic elements, including characters, props, environments, and lighting, contribute to a unified and immersive game world.
Promotional Material Creation: Direct the creation of promotional videos, trailers, and other marketing assets, ensuring they effectively convey the game's themes and aesthetics.
Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to produce engaging and visually striking materials that resonate with target audiences.
Project Management: Manage timelines, workflows, and resources to ensure that all creative deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging open communication and creative problem-solving.
What kind of professional are we looking for? Proven experience as a Creative Director or similar leadership role in the game development industry.
Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in character and environment design, as well as experience with promotional material creation.
Proficiency in industry-standard design and animation software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk Maya, Blender).
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a creative team.
Deep understanding of game development processes, from concept to final production.
Passion for video games and a keen eye for detail.
Over 2 years of experience working on AAA or indie games.
Familiarity with current gaming trends and technologies
