ROLE
As a Corporate Tax Associate, you will be able to contribute to the group compliance on corporate tax affairs and be involved in tax advisory projects. You will be part of an innovative Group Tax Team that works closely with all areas of the business and therefore the position includes exposure to international tax planning and coordinating and managing the compliance process for the countries in which Farfetch operates. As this business is growing significantly, there is considerable scope to develop and progress over the medium term. As you will be joining a multidisciplinary tax team, on-the-job training, mentorship, learning, and exposure to stakeholders are all on offer.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Extract and analyze extensive amounts of data to support the completion of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) returns and relevant filings for the countries where Farfetch has a taxable presence.
Develop and assist with technical research supporting tax positions taken in tax filings, including drafting written memorandums for international tax technical matters.
Support/prepare work papers, schedules, calculations, and other items related to tax filings, estimated tax payments, and extension payments, including controlling all the deadlines and filings.
Providing necessary technical input for international tax questions raised by the business.
Assist with any tax inquiries from the tax authorities as well as from the business.
Support quarterly tax reporting process by helping with the computation of all corporate tax-related figures and reconciliations to accounting.
Prepare complex tax calculations to support business decisions.
Build tax KPI's files.
WHO YOU ARE
Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or similar subject.
A minimum of 5 years of experience; BIG4 or in-house experience is a plus.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Proficiency in working with databases and Excel files.
Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills are a must.
Results-driven mind-set.
Able to deal with a very fast-paced environment.
