Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change Managing Consultant

Following an exciting period of continuous growth and development of projects in ERM Portugal, we are seeking a Managing Consultant with expertise in the area of Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change.
Based in Lisbon, you will focus on projects, assignments, and proposal tasks under the supervision of your team leader, contributing to the achievement of the team and group targets of quality project delivery, client satisfaction, productivity, and revenues.
Your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
Provide technical assistance on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/sustainability developing benchmarking studies and sustainability strategies.
Assist corporate clients to respond to annual questionnaires and reporting requirements, such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), applicable regulations on disclosure of non-financial information, etc.
Support in managing or coordinating small size projects or whole elements of larger multidisciplinary or global projects.
Delivering multiple project tasks or components, including the development of proposals.
Supervising project team(s) and mentoring junior personnel.
Understanding the interrelationships between ERM services and policies and how these are applied within the business model(s).
Establishing strong working relationships with clients through project delivery.
Supporting with commercial activities: Business Development, proposals writing, and pitching.
Ideal candidate
Master's degree in environmental engineering, industrial engineering, environmental science, or environmental discipline such as environmental management, sustainability, or climate change.
Five to seven years of experience in environmental management and sustainability related services with deep knowledge of environmental regulations.
Experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (strategy and reporting).
Experience as a project manager and generating revenues.
Knowledge in double materiality assessment and CRSD requirements.
Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
Fluency in Portuguese and English languages is necessary. Other languages (French, Spanish, or Italian) are a plus.
