THE ROLE
As a Corporate Finance Associate, you will be part of the Corporate Finance Team and responsible for funding the business for all its operational and investment needs. Reporting directly to the Corporate Finance Director, this role gives you a fantastic exposure to the company's business model, funding, and cashflow management strategy, together with the opportunity to work and interact with financial teams and operations/assets teams.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Finance projects for the organisation (research, approach, close) with banks, investors, and leasing partners.
Create and update financial models/business plan.
Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to explain business plan.
Prepare cash flow maps, design strategy for use of funds, and support on treasury decisions.
Prepare reports on business update and financial statements for external stakeholders.
Create the funding strategy of the business for its operational and investment plan.
Prepare cash flow models and project the cash flow needs for the following 18 months.
Create the 5Y business plan for the company, including new business units to be created.
Prepare reports for Board, Shareholders, and Management meetings.
Manage ongoing relationships with financial partners (banks, leasing companies, other partners).
Create, structure, and set up special financing projects with the strong collaboration of other departments.
Participate in the discussions with the insurance companies in order to secure better conditions.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You have a Bachelor or Masters degree in Management, Economics or Finance.
More than 3 years of experience in corporate and strategy finance positions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
Fast learner and tech-savvy, eager to implement new procedures with new tools to improve efficiency through automation of tasks.
Results-driven with attention to detail, being autonomous and responsible for deliverables.
Ability to work under pressure and short deadlines.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with ever-changing situations.
You are motivated by taking ownership of your projects.
Fluency in English is mandatory, additional language skills are a plus.
