Our solutions empower people and deliver a better people experience so people can spend time on meaningful high value work they live for.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesDeal sourcing and evaluation: Provide support to source, qualify, and analyse potential acquisition targets, assessing their strategic fit and financial viabilityPipeline development and management: Manage company deal databases, including target tracking and developmentDeal execution: Provide execution support across all phases of the transaction process, from initial contact through negotiation and closing, ensuring that deals are executed efficiently and in accordance with Unit4's strategic priorities. Coordinate internal resources and external vendors, such as tech, accounting, and legal partners, as needed.Financial analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, including valuation modelling and due diligence, to evaluate potential acquisitions and assess their impact on Unit4's financial and operational performance.Stakeholder management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between acquisition strategies and business objectivesCommunication and reporting: Support in the preparation of detailed due diligence reports and investment cases to our senior executives and Board of DirectorsBusiness development: Build and grow relationships with bankers and other external parties to support business development efforts.M&A strategy development: Support the formulation and execution of Unit4's M&A strategy, enhancing our ability to identify opportunities that align with our long-term objectives, by working with our Product, CS, GTM, and Delivery teams to understand their roadmaps and needs to help inform deal sourcing and priorities.Market research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities to inform decision-making and identify potential acquisition targets.QualificationsExperience: 3-6 years of corporate development, investment banking, private equity, and/or management consulting experience, with a preference for candidates with technology/software experience.Advanced financial analysis: A strong command of valuation methodologies, accounting principles, and Excel modelling, with ability to define and execute key analyses with minimal supervision.Analytical skills: Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with a proven ability to conduct complex financial analysis and distil findings into actionable insights.Communication skills: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to senior executives and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Project management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Results orientation: Results-driven and detail-oriented, with a track record of delivering high-quality work products on time.Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in response to changing priorities and circumstances.Motivation: Goal-oriented, self-starter who takes initiative and drives towards outcomes.Additional InformationA chance to participate in the development of an international leading software firm.
