Our solutions empower people and deliver a better people experience so people can spend time on meaningful high value work they live for.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesDeal sourcing and evaluation: Provide support to source, qualify, and analyse potential acquisition targets, assessing their strategic fit and financial viabilityPipeline development and management: Manage company deal databases, including target tracking and developmentDeal execution: Provide execution support across all phases of the transaction process, from initial contact through negotiation and closing, ensuring that deals are executed efficiently and in accordance with Unit4's strategic priorities. Coordinate internal resources and external vendors, such as tech, accounting, and legal partners, as needed.Financial analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, including valuation modelling and due diligence, to evaluate potential acquisitions and assess their impact on Unit4's financial and operational performance.Stakeholder management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between acquisition strategies and business objectivesCommunication and reporting: Support in the preparation of detailed due diligence reports and investment cases to our senior executives and Board of DirectorsBusiness development: Build and grow relationships with bankers and other external parties to support business development efforts.M&A strategy development: Support the formulation and execution of Unit4's M&A strategy, enhancing our ability to identify opportunities that align with our long-term objectives, by working with our Product, CS, GTM, and Delivery teams to understand their roadmaps and needs to help inform deal sourcing and priorities.Market research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities to inform decision-making and identify potential acquisition targets.QualificationsExperience: 3-6 years of corporate development, investment banking, private equity, and/or management consulting experience, with a preference for candidates with technology/software experience.Advanced financial analysis: A strong command of valuation methodologies, accounting principles, and Excel modelling, with ability to define and execute key analyses with minimal supervision
