The coordination / management / supervision on the tourism - hotelier operations;
The coordination / management / supervision of the activities and functions of the Managers and Management teams of the hotels and golf courses;
Together with internal stakeholders, cooperate in the generation of growth and consolidation of properties in Portugal by increasing income, reducing costs and expenses and increasing productivity;
Maintaining and renovating facilities and update systems and procedures;
Supervision of major purchases of equipment and tools, new or replacements, for operations;
Working closely with the Regional Director of Human Resources on staffing and training;
Ensure managers operate within their budget;
Ensures responsible financial management of assigned hotels in partnership with leadership team, develop annual budgets to accurately forecast financial performance and to deliver financial results in accordance with those budgets;
Monitor costs and investments and make recommendations to reduce costs and maximize returns;
Proactively provides coaching and mentoring to management staff in assigned portfolio including 1:1 and completion of annual performance appraisal. Together with the Regional Director of Human Resources work with employees to ensure career path development and future growth;
Ensure that all assigned assets are properly maintained and protected, and that life safety programs, compliance, and organization standards and practices are being enforced and followed.
Perfil idealBachelor's degree in Business, Hotel & Restaurant Management or similar;
Master Degree or MBA highly desirable;
Proven ability to manage a team of four or more director level or above team members;
Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in management hospitality operations;
Strong experience in Golf;
Strong track record of driving client and customer satisfaction;
Proven ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced and P&L driven environment;
Advanced knowledge of PMS, Purchase, POS and accounting softwares;
Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint);
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Portuguese).
