What you will do: Development, in the mechanical field, of studies (preliminary, basic and licensing), technical specifications, budget estimates and scheduling of thermal projects, whether built from scratch or involving significant rehabilitation or reconfiguration of operating assets in a Focused Growth context, including supervision of detailed design. Provide technical support, in the field of mechanics, to projects related to energy production assets using other technologies, in the context of preliminary studies, licensing and implementation monitoring; prepare implementation reports and on-site supervision in the field of investment project management. Participate in centralized procurement processes for supplies and services, contracting works and equipment supply, contracting studies/projects, and technical evaluation of proposals, under the best market conditions for the assets of the Thermal Production Centers, and supervise compliance with established contracts, including outsourcing agreements, particularly regarding quality, deadlines, and defined costs; prepare technical conditions and conduct technical evaluations of proposals. Prepare performance and monitoring reports in the field of contract management. Ensure the execution of condition and remaining life studies, risk analysis related to the operation of facilities, aimed at optimizing the LCC (LIFECYCLE COST) of thermal assets, supporting the establishment of maintenance strategies and policies based on cost/benefit studies. Employment type: Full Time Work site: Hybrid Model City: Lisbon OR Oviedo What are we looking for: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, preferably in the areas of Energy or Maintenance. Mandatory professional experience in the field of study of at least 8 years. Knowledge of electrical systems in Thermal Power Plants, pressure equipment, fluid mechanics, valves, material analysis, regulations related to pressure equipment, and welding procedures is valued. Knowledge and experience in condition assessment and its application to complex decision-making processes are valued. Knowledge in professional risk prevention in the specialties of occupational safety, industrial hygiene, applied ergonomics, and psychosociology. Proficiency in MS Office tools is required. Fluent in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written, and basic knowledge of Spanish. Driving license and availability to travel to different Thermal Production Sites. Willingness to travel frequently within Portugal and across all Group geographies, including Portugal, Spain, and Brazil
