Controller (M/F)

LEICA PORTUGAL is looking for a Controller for its facilities in V. N. Famalicão.
Mission:
Reporting to the Group Controlling, the Controller will be responsible for the planning and controlling activities for the new sales Scandinavian subsidiary of Leica Camera AG, as well as the governance of intercompany charges worldwide.
Main Tasks:

Active participation in annual budget planning
Preparation of regular sales reports and monthly group reports and financial forecasts
Inventory controlling and support of the annual inventory
Ensuring complete and accurate accounting
Preparation, analysis, and, if necessary, presentation of the monthly income statement
Support in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
Preparation and support of audits
Cost and performance accounting
Monitoring and, if necessary, modifying the conditions system
Preparation of contribution margin calculations and price controls
Maintenance of cost types and cost centers, as well as responsibility for cost control
Maintenance and development of the relevant master data in the ERP system
Support the management team on commercial issues
Business analysis of business processes
Development and monitoring of relevant key figures
Participation or implementation of projects to improve processes and results
Coordination with local authorities and service providers
Oversee the process of intercompany charges between Leica Companies

Profile Required:

University degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in auditing in a Big 4 Company
Good knowledge of Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow statements
Experience using SAP System and other accounting programs or equivalent is an advantage
Advanced level of Excel and query training
Advanced level of English, written and spoken, is mandatory - German will be an advantage
Strategic and analytical, structured, independent way of working

Ability to solve problems and communicate at all levels
Willingness to travel
