This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, regulatory requirements, and exceptional leadership and managerial skills.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations Management: Oversee and manage all financial operations, including RTR, PTP, Tax, Accounting, and Statutory compliance. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data and transactions in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and other financial reports. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.Internal Controls and Compliance: Develop and maintain robust internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit issues and implementing necessary corrective actions.Tax Planning and Compliance: Work closely with the Tax Centre of excellence (CoE) to ensure proper tax planning and compliance activities in adherence to local and international tax regulations. Work closely with tax advisors to optimize tax efficiency and minimize tax risks. Prepare and review tax returns, filings, and other required documentation.Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets, identifying and explaining variances. Provide financial insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and cross-functional teams, to provide financial guidance and support.
