Fabrics Business Unit produces and delivers paper machine clothing and filtration fabrics to Pulp and Paper industry globally. Our offering helps the customer to increase productivity, achieve lower operating costs, save energy and improve quality.
Your main responsibility is to support the local management team including Finance Manager, Ovar General Manager and Head of Filtration Technology Units in achieving the targets set within Service Fabrics Business Unit. To ensure Valmet Ltda. Operations are compliant with Valmet and local regulations.
Job Description:
Support the management reporting in HFM (Valmet reporting tool);
Support operations teams in both factories in Ovar as well as sales teams for the different Valmet businesses in Portugal (Fabrics, Automation and Pulp and Energy);
Analysis and preparation of financial statements;
Analysis of deviations and realization of the plan and forecast;
Preparation and analysis of monthly reporting to support decision making;
Organization and maintenance of the industrial costing system (BOM's and Routings);
Coordination in the definition of indicators in the different areas as well as the collection of information necessary for the production reports with management indicators relevant to the business (KPI's);
Efficiently support the preparation and monthly/annual closing of the company's accounts;
Supporting FM in internal and external audits of management and accounting processes;
Follow up of stock levels and working capital;
Support with ERP implementation and propose improvements.
Requirements:
Academic training at the degree in Accounting, Economics or Management;
Proven experience of at least 5 years in the job, preferably in an industrial environment;
Fluency in Spoken and Written English;
Good analytical skills, organization and planning;
Excellent computer skills, particularly in SAP ERP (preferred factor);
Capacity for initiative and versatility, resistance to stress;
Consolidated knowledge Financial Analysis;
Good knowledge of general and analytical accounting.
