Job Description
The Contract Compliance Manager at Digitax Services is primarily responsible for managing the Outsourcing Services Agreement and related forms to ensure compliance with applicable laws. This position oversees day-to-day legal and contract administrative activities, including negotiations, while providing advisory support on contractual & legal issues as needed. This role combines legal expertise, leadership, and innovation in managing complex contracts for Digitax Services, ensuring that agreements are compliant and aligned with business objectives.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
Contract Management: Manage and review the Outsourcing Services Agreement and related documentation for legal compliance and alignment with business objectives. Ensure adherence to regulations relevant to Digitax Services' offerings such as Tax Preparation and Filing, Accounting & Bookkeeping, Payroll Services, Business Advisory, IRS Representation & Tax Resolution, and Consulting for Special Tax Credits.
Legal and Compliance Oversight: Act as an advisor on legal & contract issues, collaborating with Legal & Compliance teams when necessary. Draft and review contractual change documents and recommend appropriate legal clauses. Demonstrate expertise in corporate matters such as corporate organization, securities compliance, data privacy, risk management, and contract management for complex agreements. Independently create and maintain contract management outputs e.g. Change Request Tracker, contract summary, obligation matrix. Support RFQs.
Problem Solving & Innovation: Utilize advanced analytical skills to solve complex, non-routine problems, applying a new perspective when necessary. Develop and implement recommendations to improve contract management processes. Proactively seek innovation and suggest improvements. Respond to queries related to contract documents and produce presentations, if required.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide professional guidance and mentoring to the contract management team. Lead projects with manageable risks while maintaining accountability for individual and team contributions.
Negotiation & Communication: Negotiate operational and complex contract issues, often engaging with senior leadership. Communicate across teams and functional leaders to align contract management practices. Demonstrate cross-cultural understanding and global mindset in contract dealings.

In-depth Business Knowledge: Deep understanding of tax, accounting, business advisory services, and how these integrate with contract management objectives. Use this knowledge to improve processes and ensure contracts support broader business goals.

Required Skills:
Experience: 4-6 years of experience relevant to Digitax Services (i.e., tax preparation, accounting, payroll services, advisory services, IRS representation, consulting on tax credits, and related software tools).
Familiarity with contract management at a global level, data privacy, intellectual property rights, licensing agreements, and risk management.
Impact & Scope: Responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of contract compliance within the organization. Expected to develop solutions for complex issues and analyze broader problems within the area of responsibility.

Familiarity with outsourcing models, service-level agreements (SLAs), and other operational aspects of contracts.
Project Management Skills: Ability to plan and structure contract management activities, ensuring all phases of the contract lifecycle are efficiently managed. Prioritizing tasks effectively to ensure high-risk or high-value contracts are managed promptly.
Ability to read, interpret and implement legal documents.
Experience in working with SharePoint, MS Teams, Apttus.
