Responsibilities:
(Region covered – EU, TR and PT):
Point of contact for contract related topics within procurement organization;
Support contract structuring based on parties requirements within regulatory, legal and business framework;
Drive strategic focus on key financials and identify contractual solutions that drive margins, strong cash positions and risk mitigation;
Strong cross functional connect and interface between procurement, production, legal, finance/tax and logistics for inputs to contractual agreements;
Review and verify that contractual agreements cover key contents;
Implementation (of new) and Optimization of (already used) Systems and Methods;
Support category manager in preparation and negotiation of contractual agreements to fulfill commercial and legal requirements internally and externally;
Support category managers in internal approval process for contracts under negotiation;
Day to day alignment with project/supplier requirements and execution status;
Interface between procurement and insurance teams for activities related to any claims, or insurance requirements for a contract;
Supports the evaluation of region specific regulations considered in contractual agreements; Evaluate commercial and legal regulations in contractual agreements;
Perform risk assessment of as-is contract conditions;
Clearly explain contract terminology to internal stakeholders in simple, everyday language;
Support and guide in regards to the documentation of contract related file;
Administer and guide implementation of contracts during contract execution phase;
Review, support and liaise for claim management activities;
Manage and ensure contract compliance internally via category manager.
Skills:
Degree in Law or engineering (mechanical/electrical/civil);
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
Fluent in English and German beneficial;
Proficient in MS Office programs, SAP and Ariba as a plus;
Excellent communication skills;
Experience in energy industry;
Know-how of energy industry patterns and associated risks.
