After our recent $2bn valuation, we're excited to continue accelerating our impact by scaling with high caliber people with passion, commitment, and energy to create and deliver technologies, services, and products that drive human progress forward.You will join our dynamic and highly skilled Systems team where you'll play a pivotal role in the development of medical devices. You'll be at the intersection of hardware engineering, manufacturing, software, quality, and regulatory affairs teams, playing an instrumental role in bringing groundbreaking products from concept to reality, all while enjoying a vibrant and collaborative work environment.What You'll Do:Manage a team of Quality test and manufacturing engineers to support ongoing production process, NPI, and continuous improvement of existing product lines.Identify cost-savings opportunities, and drive the necessary engineering changes to capture.Work with customer support to triage and validate component failure complaints in the field, and work with the engineering teams to introduce corrective solutions.Investigate CAPAs and NCRs that involve a hardware or manufacturing component.Develop and oversee validation test plans in support of New Product Introduction.Identify and qualify dual-source components to improve product quality and unit economics.Oversee product lifecycle management of critical electronic components within the Sword Thrive ecosystem.Travel up to 10% may be required.Who You Are:A technical degree in hardware, software, or industrial engineering.7+ years in a quality engineering role, with prior experience managing engineering teams.Advanced DOE skills, capable of developing functional testing programs based on engineering/user requirements.Analytical thinker who can gather or create the information necessary to make data-driven quality and process improvements decisions.Naturally curious and methodical engineer capable of doing root-cause analysis of failure modes across hardware, electronics, and software.Bonus Points:Worked on medical devices, and proficiency in the regulatory requirements of development.*Please note that this position does not offer relocation assistance.
