Together, we are driving progress forward in a #OGJSROLE PURPOSE Process improvement and Optimization project coordinator for Close and Accounting Responsible for the implementation of the closing calendar task tool project in close relation with Innovation team and external consultants, Coordinate, with Close & Accounting and Innovation teams, the Process improvement and Optimizations actions identified to streamlined, automatized and optimized processes and systems.
Ensure a proper planning and a prioritization of actions is available with the right allocation of resources and is regularly updated.
Follow up on KPIs of actions plan resolution and propose actions when issues are identified.
Manage and coordinate the various improvement processes in the accounting and reporting departments, supporting the teams in the design, implementation and evaluation of improvement processes and tools optimization.
Support process documentation in close link with integra implementation Identify and propose new solutions to enhance and standardize processes.
Actively contribute to the new ERP implementation, act as a pivot and reference to the implementation and coordinating the various teams on the ongoing projects; Support the Turnkey, Operations and Group Functions accounting managers in the harmonization of processes between the teams and also be a positive contributor to the development of conjunct projects; Close and Accounting Delivery control Participate to quarterly Balance sheet reviews of all pillars exercising your professional judgment and external view combined with your knowledge of the Company environment and transactions as well as your IFRS experience.
You assess how balances and variances of accounts have been properly documented and reconciled with satisfying backups.
When gaps are identified, together with Accounting managers, you investigate further and propose shared corrective measures and new controls to ensure those gaps are closed.
In case immediate actions need to be taken you highly contribute to solve them enabling Accounting teams to stay focused on all other closing tasks to be performed in order to ensure submission are done accurately and on time.
Be a pivot between the Group consolidation team and the accounting team contributing actively to specific requirements from the Group consolidation team on the Closing periods and also contributing to specific projects involving the accounting and the Group consolidation team, out of the closing periods; You liaise with Forecast to Control, Close and Accounting and Group consolidation teams to understand how to reconcile finance lease files expected balance sheet positions IFRS and Directional (contract assets and assets under construction) with actual balance sheet positions.
When discrepancies are identified you ensure together with Consolidation team that gaps are cleared.
Support and contribute actively to the analysis of new significant operations / transactions, including the accounting treatment and the accounting set-up (both under IFRS and Directional),in coordination with the different accounting teams (Turnkey, Operations, Group functions) and the consolidation team.
Manage ad-hoc requests from Close and Accounting Tower manager ??????? JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Business School or financial & accounting related degree Experience: (functions, duration): at least five years' experience in an audit or accounting Firm ideally followed by an experience in an international group.
Knowledge: Solid accounting and IFRS knowledge especially IFRS 15 Revenue Recognition, IFRS 16 Leases (lessee and lessor) and IAS 37 provision, contingent Liabilities and Assets and others You understand the revenue recognition for long term contracts as well as contract assets/ liabilities recognition Agility with tools (ERP environment, strong use of excel) Ability to work under pressure to meet specific deadlines, including in a turbulent / fast-moving environment Statutory accounting and tax requirements in an international Environment Well-developed stakeholder management skills; and Analytical skills and critical thinking Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbally.
Proactive team player Flexibility for travels occasionally
