.Construction Mechanical Completion Engineer Construction Mechanical Completion Engineer, MCE Reference: PIR 427401200 Project: ALBA Job Location: Sines, Portugal Job type/Contract: Competitive salary package with benefits They report to the QAM/QAE or to the Mechanical Completion Coordinator, if present. They are responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and reporting all aspects of Mechanical Completion. Duties and responsibilities At site, operatively reporting to the Mechanical Completion Coordinator or, if not present, to the Construction Quality Manager, his/her main duties and responsibilities are the following: Receive original punch list from discipline supervisors or quality construction inspectors, record them on the punch list record logbook, and assure their insertion in MM. Maintain and monitor the progress of the punch list, update the report of closed items, monitor pending priority punch lists in each subsystem, keep Construction Management informed, and address discipline supervisors/subcontractors' punch list close-out as per priority by the Pre-commissioning Group. Provide punch lists printouts to supervisors, collect approval signatures from the responsible parties once field works are completed. Monitor discipline completion, issue the Discipline Acceptance Certificate according to Handover Procedure when a discipline is completed within a subsystem. Monitor Field Completion Dossier status for each Subsystem/System, issue the Subsystem/System Ready for Commissioning Certificate according to Handover Procedure when the Subsystem/System is completed. Assign Subsystems/Check Sheets to each component/TAG according to approved ITPs. Participate in weekly meetings with Construction/Commissioning teams for handover completion according to commissioning prioritization. Verify proper characterization of all Punch points in the punch list forms before inputting them to MILEMATE! (c). Prepare all daily/weekly/monthly Mechanical Completion reports shared with Construction/Commissioning teams. Lead Construction team to handover DAC (Discipline Acceptance Certificate). Lead Commissioning team to handover MCC (Mechanical Completion Certificate) to the CLIENT to implement commissioning activities. Issue DAC, MCC, and RFSU with proper certificates and documents. Prepare the Final dossier (field inspection certification dossier). Assist the Mechanical Completion Coordinator/Engineers in populating the data into MILEMATE! (c). Scan all completed Check sheets to MILEMATE! (c), insert/close the Punch Lists in MILEMATE! (c), and archive all documents properly
