About this opportunity Senior professional Construction Director responsible for managing the successful delivery of large-scale data centre construction projects and customer relationships.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectivesPositively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationshipsDelivering high quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our Customer's requirementsProducing and presenting to customersPreparing bids for servicesManaging service delivery for profitAdvising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insuranceAs a Gleeds team member, you will have access to: Opportunities to develop and grow your careerEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFlexible working arrangementsAbout You
Who we're looking for: Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills Experience managing mission critical related construction projects execution (data centres, life science, etc.)Excellent knowledge of technical requirements applied to the construction sectorDetailed knowledge and practices experience of project management techniquesClear understanding of legislation impacting on building contractsExcellent communication skills - both oral and writtenMethodical way of thinking and approach to workExcellent problem solving and negotiating skillsSound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to work as part of a teamNational mobilityProfessional level of EnglishQualifications University degree - Building Engineering, Civil Engineering or similarAbout Us
