About the client: Our client is a Fund Management Company licensed by the Portuguese Stocks Market Regulator (CMVM), allowed to managed Private Equity / Venture Capital and Real Estate funds and is exposed to companies and projects in Portugal, USA, Turkey, UK, Luxembourg, and Spain.
They need a Compliance Officer who will play a key role within the company.
Job description: Onboarding of both individual and corporate clients Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as advisors, accountants, auditors among others to obtain Ongoing monitoring of our clients for AML / KYC purposes.
Perform quarterly Key internal controls report Assisting on the execution of the annual and or extraordinary General Assemblies of Participants Draft of Compliance policies and its update whenever required Prepare and report KYC (Know Your Customer) / AML (Anti-Money Laundering) information to the Regulator Requirements: Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in Compliance roles Education: Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent Languages: Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken Competences: Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel) skills Excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure Critical thinking and solution orientation Ability to understand and identify SOW (Source of Wealth) and SOF (Source of Funds) What we offer: Exposure to an international environment and to a young but innovative team of skilled professionals with various backgrounds Remuneration adapted to the candidate's profile and experience, combined with the company's benefits in place Access to a career progression opportunity Access to a unique opportunity to work for a local company with international investors, investments and strategic international partners worldwide.
