Offer Description Work Plan:
Analytical characterisation of historical tiles (glaze and pigments) using specified techniques.
Organisation and participation in dissemination activities for various audiences.
Workplace: The work will be developed at VICARTE (Research Unit "Glass and Ceramics for the Arts") at NOVA School of Science and Technology, under the supervision of Dr Andreia Ruivo and co-supervision of Dr Susana Coentro.
The fellowship is valid for three months and is expected to start on December 1st, 2024.

Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent
Mandatory Requirements:
Master's in Chemistry, Heritage Science or related fields specialising in glass materials.
Research experience in high-temperature solid-state synthesis.
Experience in characterising glass materials through SEM-EDX, XRF, µ-Raman and XRD.
Experience in analytical characterisation of materials through Diffuse Reflectance.
Experience in organising exhibitions and dissemination activities.
Oral and written proficiency in English.
Enrollment in a PhD in a compatible scientific area.
Preferred Factors:
Experience in solid-state synthesis.
Experience in materials characterisation through optical spectroscopy.
Capacity and work experience in multidisciplinary teams.
Languages: ENGLISH Level Good
Additional Information Monthly Maintenance Allowance: € 1,259.64.
Selection Criteria The selection criteria will be as follows:
Curricular evaluation (1 to 20): 50%;
Experience in the research field of the grant (1 to 20): 50%.
Interviews will be conducted with the top three candidates scoring above 15.
