Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive engagement strategies that foster a thriving, connected community.
Multi-Faceted Communication Plan: Design and manage communication initiatives across multiple channels (email, social media, newsletters, etc.) to keep the community engaged, informed, and active.
Campaign Leadership: Spearhead targeted engagement campaigns tailored to resonate with different segments of the community, using data-driven insights to enhance impact. Manage community activities designed to keep members engaged and loyal.
Community Interaction: Ensure community members feel supported and understood by actively engaging with them through multiple touchpoints.
Onboarding Support: Assist new users in navigating our services and ensure they have a positive start, complementing broader engagement strategies.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance communication processes, ensuring a seamless experience for all community members.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align communication strategies with marketing, product, and operational goals.
Support Emails: Provide timely and thoughtful responses to community member queries.
Requirements
Must have:
Fluent in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken).
Based in Porto or ability to come to our offices in Maia (this is a requirement).
Strategic & Empathetic: Ability to develop and execute engagement strategies while maintaining a community-first mindset.
Excellent Communication Skills: A strong ability to connect with the community via multiple platforms.
Multitasking Pro: Handling multiple community member interactions and campaigns is part of the day-to-day.
Critical Thinking: Analyze processes, suggest improvements, and proactively find ways to optimize community interactions.
Assertiveness: Confident in coordinating across teams to advocate for necessary changes.
Nice to Have:
Experience in a sales assistance or customer-facing role.
Familiarity with Mailchimp or other marketing platforms.
Fluency in Spanish is a bonus!
An understanding of human interaction and behavior would be beneficial in managing community dynamics.

The interview process for this role consists of two stages:
Initial Screening: In this first interview, we will review your experience and background, assess your fit for the role, and provide an overview of the project you'll be working on, helping you understand how it aligns with your career goals.
English Proficiency Assessment: In the second stage, you will participate in a 10-minute conversation with a native English speaker. The focus will be on your ability to engage and maintain a natural and flowing conversation in English.
