Descrição The Manager will lead the development of policies and strategies for media presence, social media channels, content, reputation, and brand management in Portugal.
This position requires a creative and analytical thinker who can collaborate across departments to ensure consistent branding and effective communication.
Brand Strategy and Management: Develop and execute brand strategies aligned with the organization's values and goals, ensuring consistency across all channels. Collaborate with the Fundraising Department to use market research and consumer insights to guide strategy. Communication Planning and Execution: Create communication plans that effectively convey key messages, develop content for various platforms, and coordinate with other departments and agencies for external communication activities, including emergency communication. Manage media relations and spokesperson support, and organize events such as press conferences and product launches. Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and mentor the brand and communications team, work with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging, and manage external agencies and vendors to implement effective communication strategies. Performance Measurement and Reporting: Establish KPIs to evaluate branding and communication efforts, adjusting strategies based on performance data and market feedback. Budget Management: Oversee budget planning and resource allocation for the Brand & Communications department. Perfil ideal Advanced university degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or another related field; 5 to 10 years of experience in brand management, marketing and communications; Proven experience in leading high profile communication strategies and media outreach; Strong and extensive network of top-level media contacts globally; Demonstrated communication skills, including ability to interact independently with internal and external stakeholders and to speak in public; Flexible work attitude and ability to work well under pressure and meet unexpected demands; Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong leadership and team management abilities; Ability to think creatively and strategically; Experience with market research and data analysis; Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
